Deadpool Issue #1 Delayed Until September 10, 2008
Marvel.com has just updated their comic catalog page to reflect that the first three issues of the upcoming Deadpool series have been delayed one week. As previously reported, Deadpool #1 was set to be released September 3, 2008, but now will not come out until September 10, 2008. Deadpool to Appear in Weapon X: First Class Limited Series
It was revealed today at Fan Expo 2008 that Deadpool will appear in the upcoming three issue limited series, Weapon X: First Class. Writer Marc Sumerak confirmed that while the main focus of the story will be Wolverine, Deadpool and other Weapon X characters will make an appearance. The comic will also include a 10 page backup story that will focus more on the supporting characters such as Deadpool. Weapon X: First Class #1 is out November 5, 2008, though there is no confirmation if Deadpool will appear in issue #1 or not. [SOURCE]First Look at Art From Deadpool #2

Special Deadpool Edition of the Mighty Marvel Podcast
Marvel.com has just posted a special Deadpool edition of their Mighty Marvel Podcast, featuring an interview with Daniel Way. Daniel Way is writing the new Deadpool solo series that starts on September 3, 2008. The only new information Way reveals that hasn't already been revealed in other interviews is that a future story arc will feature Deadpool versus at least some members of the Thunderbots, possibly long time associate of Deadpool, Bullseye. Way does confirm his plans for the first story arc featuring Secret Invasion and his plan to bring back characters from Deadpool's past into the new series. There is a significant amount of discussion about bringing back Bob, Agent of Hydra.Daniel Way also answered fan questions, including questions about Deadpool Inc., breaking the fourth wall, and the Thunderbolts.
The podcast runs for 22:51 minutes and provides new insight into how writer Daniel Way is thinking about the new Deadpool series. [SOURCE]

Help Get An Animated Deadpool Movie
The upcoming DVD animated movie Hulk VS Wolverine was screened at SDCC last month, and as reported by the Deadpool Bugle the movie features an appearance by Deadpool. In a panel after the screening, co-writer and supervising producer Craig Kyle discussed the project and answered questions.
One question asked was about the possiblility of an animated Deadpool movie, Kyle responded that it is up to the fans to let the studios know what they want.
