“HEAD TRIP,” PART 6 Space, the Final Frontier. O-ver-ra-ted. Wade, the severed Zombie Deadpool head and Dr. Betty find themselves back on good old Earth, knee-deep in swampy goodness. Seems like Headpool is a little homesick, and everyone agrees the zombie virus should be put safely back into its own dimension. All they’ve got to do is find that damn dimensional portal. Anyway, you don't think A.I.M, is gonna give up that easy, do you? No way. Just because their space station got itself all blown up doesn't mean they're out of the game. But wait -- who's this surprise guest star? Is it a MAN? Is it a THING? Well, you see where this is going ... Is this enough preview copy to get you to buy the damn book…because I can go on all night?!

Deadpool #18 Reviews

Flawless Hustle - A-
All in all, this latest issue was solid all around – while the jokes were kept to a minimum to allow the story to finish, it was still fast-paced, and the payoff was key for both the X-Men and for Deadpool, with the promise of more fun and frenzy to come very soon.
ComicVine User Review
. I'm hoping that Daniel Way keeps up his brilliant writing as Deadpool continues a year of trying to be a hero.
iFanboy User Reviews
Way just continues to deliver a funny comic issue after issue and he really has nailed how to write the character.
Paradox Comic Group - 7/10
his issue in particular shows that Way knows this character inside and out: how to position him for the best comedy affect and who to pit him with or against to make his unpredictability that little bit more exciting and fun.
CBR
The balance of things, once again, shows how well writer Daniel Way balances humor with action and plotting, while the all-star art team of Paco Medina, Juan Vlasco and Marte Gracia again deliver in every way, from facial expressions (Wolverine's exasperation, Norman's smugness) to the visual balance of scenes (where's the shot coming from? Nice ...) was perfect.

Big thanks to Tom for collecting these reviews.
The Nerdiest Kids
"This isn’t as good as the last “Deadpool Team-Up” that had Hercules, but it’s still not bad ... A rompin’ good time for $2.99."
iFanboy User Reivew
"Benson is not a good writer and his take on Deadpool is not entertaining. He's trying to hard to be funny and his 'humor' is so lazy that he makes Victor Gischler looks like a genius!"
IGN - 6.9/10
"Suicide Kings wasn't perfect by any means, but it did show Benson had a solid grasp of the character and wasn't likely to crap the bed here. "Not crapping the bed" may sound like faint praise, but think of the alternative…"
CBR - 1/5
"It's mostly just a lot of scampering around and backstabbing, as a bunch of freelancers stumble over each other to satisfy a Mexican crime boss. You know, like that Peckinpah movie about Alfredo Garcia, except instead of the tormented and sardonic Warren Oates, we get Robin Williams in a Ryan Reynolds costume. And the Zapata Brothers! They're Mike Benson creations from "Moon Knight" who talk like third-rate Tarantino rip-off characters from 1995 but dress like luchadores."
Newsarama
"Overall, it may be disposable, but if you're one of those Deadpool diehards who buys all these books, this won't disappoint."
ComicVine User Review - 3/5
"In short, this issue had really funny parts, I liked the character interactions, and it was well drawn but the story dragged on and I saw the twist coming from panel two."
Weekly Comic Book Review - C+
"Is Benson’s story perfect or even special in any way? Not really. But that doesn’t mean that Deadpool Team-Up #898 isn’t an entertaining comic worth checking out if you are a Wade Wilson fan."
Comic Book Club
"if we keep getting fun stories where Deadpool teams up with Mexican wrestlers, I’ll deal with far too many Deadpool stories."
Comic Book Movie - 5/5
I highly recommend this title to any Deadpool fan, or anyone who likes Team Ups.
