Wolverine and the X-Men Writer Discusses Deadpool

The website Toon Zone had an interview with Wolverine and X-Men writer Greg Johnson at the 2009 San Diego ComicCon. When asked about Deadpool being in the show, Johnson had this to say:

"Deadpool is a very funny character for a lot of reasons, not just the shocking comments. Yeah, we still push the limits with him, more so than most characters in the cast, but we can’t go PG-13. When you watch him, there will be no doubt that it’s Deadpool."
